Law enforcement officials have implemented Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code, which prohibits large gatherings and public protests in certain areas. This move aims to curtail any potential unrest that could disrupt the upcoming visit of Belarusian government officials to Pakistan.

Sources within the government have expressed concern that PTI’s protests seem to always coincide with important events, such as the diplomatic visit, which has led to increasing frustrations among Pakistani officials.
